Description

This is a product you’ll want to ask for at the service counter of the fish section at your grocery shop. You need to buy only two or three scallops per diner. Drizzle a little high-quality olive oil on the scallops; then add salt and pepper before pan-frying. Using your hands, turn the scallops in the oil. Note that your pan must be truly hot before you start frying. Place up to four scallops on the pan at a time. If there are too many scallops on the pan, they will begin to steam without frying properly. You will get a crispy frying surface if you wait for two minutes per side without turning the scallops or checking to see how they are coming along. After turning, fry for another two minutes. Serve the scallops with sides of a salad and herbs, mushrooms or shrimp.
