Description
This is a product you’ll want to ask for at the service counter of the fish section at your grocery shop. Crabmeat is generally served as is together with some toast and a mayonnaise sauce. The pincers contain white flesh with a mild taste much like the taste of shrimp. Inside the shell, you will find brown flesh, which has a pasty structure and a stronger flavour. We don’t recommend mixing the two different flavours of flesh, so you should eat them separately. After cleaning the crab, you can put the shell into a pot of boiling water and cook for half an hour. Then strain the crab broth, which you can use later to make fish soup, for instance.
