Description
This is a product you’ll want to ask for at the service counter of the fish section at your grocery shop. The brown trout looks very much like a salmon. Its tail is straight, however, whereas a salmon’s tail will have a distinct notch on it. For another, the spots on the trout reach clearly below the lateral line, whereas those on a salmon do not. Brown trout has a very pleasant taste and it is nice for pan-frying or smoking. No added salt. The salt content of the product consists of naturally occurring sodium.
