7 Regular disclosures of data


Personal data is transferred to third parties in connection with the provision of IT and marketing services. Upon the disclosure of data, Escamar ensures the suitability of a third party to serve as the processor of personal data and ensures, by contract, that said data is used and stored in a data secure manner and in accordance with Escamar’s data protection requirements.

Data may also be disclosed to authorities in a manner required by valid legislation.


8  Transfer of data outside the EU or the EEA


Personal data is primarily processed within the EU, but may also be transferred for processing outside the EU in connection with the provision of certain types of services. When data is transferred outside the EU, it is only transferred to countries which the European Commission has deemed to possess an adequate level of data protection and only to partners who are contractually obligated to ensure the appropriate level of data protection and privacy. Furthermore, the above-mentioned data protection requirements also apply to said partners.


9 Principles of register protection


Register protection is ensured by means of various administrative and technical security measures to protect personal data. All data stored in the register is always treated as confidential and access to it is restricted to the necessary personnel by means of access control protocols. Personal data is only processed when necessary and in a manner required for its intended purpose.

Personal data is stored only for the period of time it is needed and deleted when this period expires.


10 Rights of the data subject


Data subjects have the right to request access to personal data concerning themselves and the right to request rectification of any erroneous information.

Data subjects also have the right to refuse the use of their personal data stored in the register for marketing purposes. The user may do so by reading the guidelines given in connection with marketing messages or by contacting the person in charge of the register.
